This original painting is part of Brad Antifolk's "Anarchy of the Abstract series" and is one of a kind. The dimensions are 44" x 24". (Three separate canvases 12" x 24", 20" x 24" & 12" x 24") Acrylic, ink & epoxy resinon canvas. "Walk Away" Shares its name with a Bree Sharp song. That song is my go to when I sing in the shower (Off key and out of tune) The imagery the song uses is that of the ocean and tide. The blues in this piece are meant to represent that. This is somewhat of a reinterpretation of the much smaller "Prelude to walking Away." I knew after completing that one, that I wanted to revisit it on a much larger scale. This is the largest piece in the series to to date and the only piece to use multiple canvases. Sometimes people change including yourself and it is time to walk away. Completed in April of 2018.
There is beauty in imperfection.
